More About Jo-Anne Kelleher

Although I am a qualified Sport and High-Performance Psychologist, I do a lot more than that. I educate, motivate and inspire people in sport, fitness, business, and education so that they can get the results they crave. I am the founder of Key Aspirations Psychological Services and created the Free Facebook Group Mental Performance Hub For Sport. If you are looking at taking your sport to the next level, check it out.

Over the years, I have been inspired to help people achieve their dreams whether this has been in sport, business, education, or life in general. I am so passionate about supporting our younger generation to be resilient, confident, and be able to do anything they aspire to. As a parent now, I want to provide my children with the skills to perform at their best in sport, education, and life whilst maintaining their mental well-being and I want others who are also involved in youth sport to have the tools to do the same. I now get to work in my dream job whilst spending more time with my 2 gorgeous children. A great combination.

Primarily, I work with children who take part in competitive sport, dance, and performing arts. Parents often come to me as they see their children struggling and do not know what to do to help them. Their children get scared at performing moves that they used to be able to do, this makes them feel that they are not good enough and they get nervous when they compete. Many of the children I see compare themselves to other athletes and think that they need to be like them, others just stop enjoying their sport because things are hard in training because they have moved up a level, Before moving up, they were picking up skills really quickly but now athletes are older and better than them. However, I also with sport and fitness professionals helping them to understand the power of the mind and how they can implement sport psychology techniques into their own practice along with sharing business strategies to help them build a strong ethical sustainable practice.

However for many years, I have been working with adults who are competing in sport or aspiring to improve their fitness so that they can achieve their goals and be the best version of themselves. This kind of work particularly lights me up as I have been on my own journey to be fitter and healthier and understand the challenges that as adults we face mentally.

No matter who I am working with my aim is to inspire them to improve their confidence, build resilience and create a mindset that enables them to perform at the best of their ability taking them to the next level in their chosen field.

If you know anyone who would be a good fit, I’d love you to think of me and put us in touch.

If you’re interested and would like more details about how I can help, just email me on Jo-anne@keyaspirations.co.uk.

I’d love to chat with you further.

Jo x
