More About Zoe Black

Zoe Black Sport Psychology aims to provide you with information and support, that will help you better understand how your thinking and behaviour may be impacting your performance and your life. I work with clients to develop their understanding of themselves and teach them skills and techniques that will help them on and off the pitch, and ultimately to live a rich and more meaningful life.

Honesty, empathy and respect are my guiding principles. My practice takes a holistic approach encompassing all aspects of a client’s life into our work. I am committed to provide a safe space where clients can feel free from judgement and explore their thoughts and feelings. I believe sport psychology is as much about personal development and wellbeing as it is about performance enhancement.

I am a final year trainee  Sport and Exercise Psychologist on the DPsych program at Glasgow Caledonian University. This means I am still receiving supervision and working closely with a highly experience Sport Psychologist.

I have experience working with both individual athletes and team sports, in groups and 1-2-1. I have training and experience working in three therapeutic frameworks (PCT, CBT and ACT).
