Sport Performance Specialist
Sports Physiotherapist at
Sports Injury Physio
Brighton, England, BN1
I'm a Chartered Physiotherapist with an MSc in Sports Injury Management as well as a registered Personal Performance Coach.
This means that I draw on the latest medical research while also considering the lifestyle and personal circumstances of each patient. I use this approach with everyone. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a world class athlete or pulled a hamstring in the parents vs teachers race at the school sports day.
I have worked with elite distance runners in Ethiopia. I was a member of the medical team at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, the 2015 European Games in Azerbaijan and the 2017 IAAF World Championships and World Para Athletics Championships in London.
Locally I've provided pitch-side support for various sports teams in East Sussex, including Brighton and Hove Albion FC’s Academy.
All this has earned me a Silver Accreditation with the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercise Medicine.
My decision in 2014 to also offer my services via Skype has made it possible for patients to consult me from their homes. People from as far afield as Romania and Malaysia have benefitted from my experience in this way.
