My name is Bairbre Hassett based in Portugal, Ireland and the UK and I would be delighted to help you with psychological support pre performance, post competition, during injury or indeed developing adherence to an exercise programme.
I am passionate about Sports Psychology having studied this initially as part of my Undergraduate Degree and then specialised by gaining a Masters in Sport, Exercise and Performance Psychology. As well as working in Sports Psychology I have a background coaching many sports such as swimming for over ten years, surfing and badminton, GAA, basketball and athletics in school and youth programmes.
I love working with young people to help them and their parents work out how best to support them. As well as this I frequently work with competitive athletes pre competition in a variety of sports (team and individual sports) to assist them with competitive anxiety, issues with confidence due to injury and managing communication with coaches and players.
