Carla is an experienced sport psychologist working with athletes (recreational, regional, national, Olympic level) from a range of sports, including endurance sport, racquet sports, and ball sports. Her work includes consultancy on an individual basis as well as tailor-made workshops and work at events such as marathons. I strongly believe that if you enjoy your sport this will help you to perform well at every level (and this goes beyond sport). Exploring how you can make sense of your perceptions or change how you feel about pressure is an important part of my work, as well as working with you on how to put good intentions into action.
I have a special interest in endurance performance, and I am also leading a research working group where we look at the urge to resist stopping when taking part in endurance events. Have a look at our website for tips and videos: www.resist-stopping.com.
