I am Elanor Cormack and I operate Cormack Psychology to provide psychologist support to sport performers of all levels; motivation and behaviour change support to exercise participants; and application of performance principles to business. I bring more than a decade of experience working in sports management, combined with Masters and Doctoral studies in Sport & Exercise Psychology.
I believe that everyone can benefit from psychological support and development, regardless of their level of involvement in sport or exercise. I draw my approach from the needs of my client and spend time exploring these with clients before agreeing a plan of support.
I have extensive experience working with team sports as well as individual support for performers. I have particular expertise in working with young athletes on performance pathways. Sport psychology is not only for athletes though and I also work with coaches and officials to help them to develop as well as manage performance pressures.
I also work beyond the traditional areas of sport psychology and support exercisers of all ambitions to make the most of their efforts, whether that is trying to run a marathon or simply making exercise part of your regular routine.
Delivery can be through individual sessions, workshops, or tailored group sessions. The way we think has such a huge impact on our relationship with sport and exercise and everyone deserves the best possible experience.
